LG’s C3 OLED TVs are more than $600 off before

I don’t know what you think, but I’m going to spend the upcoming cold months sitting on my couch and watching TV (with a few books in tow). I’m just missing a good TV and I’m looking to buy a more budget TV, but LG’s C3 Series OLED TV is on sale. Right now, the 55-inch model is down from $1,800 to $1,197 – a 34 percent discount. This lowest priced model isn’t the only one that’s dropped from $1,197 to $997.

LG launched the C3 Series as a mid-range OLED option last year. It features the a9 AI Processor Gen6, HDR tone mapping, AI upscaling, and object-based picture sharpening. The TVs also come with a brightness booster, which – while not at the level of some of its competitors – makes it easier to watch even in a relatively sunny room.

If you want the newest model, check out LG’s C4 OLED series. The 2024 release is also on sale, with the 55-inch version down from $2,000 to $1,297 — the same 35 percent discount we saw recently on Prime Day. The C4 TVs offer around 1,000 nits of brightness and a maximum refresh rate of 144Hz. This model will connect wirelessly to an LG soundbar, eliminating the need for messy cables.

If you’re a Prime member, you can save $50 on the recently released Colorsoft Kindle, also known as the first Kindle with color. This is the first discount we’ve seen since this model debuted.

We encountered a “yellow band” issue with our review unit, but we later received an updated reader for which Amazon made “appropriate adjustments” to resolve the issue. The software and display adjustments the company implemented worked — and we actually liked the overall effect better. Check out our review for the full story.

The Chipolo One Point came out shortly after Google launched its Find My Device feature, a crowd-sourced finding network that relies on other Android phones to track your lost belongings (a bit like Apple’s Find My function). It’s currently our favorite Bluetooth tracker for Android.

We liked how easy it was to set up and how loud it rings. Plus, unlike AirTags, it has a hole, so it’s easy to attach the tracker to a key ring. Also at Amazon. Chipolo is also selling a pack combining its wallet and two standard One trackers for $52.
